The 2012 American Orpington Poultry Fanciers national Meet has been awarded to the Southern Ohio Poultry Breeders, October 6-7, 2012 in Lucasville, Ohio. This will also be the 2012 APA National
So far we will have $100 in award money plus the certificates and plaques.
Anyone wishing to add to the award monies, please contact either the President (me) or an officer.
Lets get at least 100 Orpingtons to show up at this show.
Have not heard if there will be any Heritage Poultry Conservacy awards for displays. Will report that as soon as I hear.
Note: The Constitution automaticly places this National at the APA National. The 2013 will be held at the Northeast Poultry Congress, January 2014.
Any club show may hold a meet. Ask your shows about holding an AOPF meet!

Greetings Jim: How can we learn of any Poultry Shows here in OK? We are new to raising Buffs, only 5 to date, but babies in early spring. We almost missed the Shawnee, OK big show, 3,000 chickens, so if anyone can give me a link, website, we would welcome this; we learned of a newspaper to get that will help also, not sure how to get this. Thanking you kindly, God Bless, Helene of OKC area
